My outfit is a mix of classic, edgy and trend. I started with a chambray top which is a classic piece. It can be paired with shorts, skirts or even jeans for the denim on denim trend. It's versatility makes it a definite closet staple.
I mixed the top with a black skirt but I found one with zippers that create an edgy vibe. I then decided to add a trend with the neon pump. Although the pumps are bright, the rest of the outfit allows them to pop. This outfit would have also been great with a black or nude shoe, but I figured, hey it's a fashion competition lets take a risk and have a little fun! If you have a closet full of neutrals and want to spice up an outfit, shoes are a great way to do it.
The accessories are in line with the edginess of the skirt. They are also a great way to play. I finished the look with a clutch that had a touch of neon to tie the whole look together. I truly feel an outfit isn't complete without a bag.
